What are the good wire wheel manufacturers out there? I know Dayton is rated pretty high but the website is pretty hard to navigate. Do you guys know of any other good knock off wheel company (I don't mean knock off as in cheap rip off)?

I'm thinking some reverse 14" x 7" 72 spoke cross laced would be pretty sweet on the Lincoln.

Since nobody else has chimed in, I know that WheelVintiques makes some varieties of wire knockoff, but I'm not sure how they compare to Dayton overall.

zenith makes some very nice high quality wheels, or at least used too its been a bit since ive been around any lowriders i ran them on my 76 caprice. i think they had a better look then daytons up close and if you can find them even had locking knockoffs.

Why stop at 72 spokes?

Kinja'd!!!

If you could get 200 spokes like these but in more of a woven spiral pattern, that would be amazing.

Best way to get D's has always been a dealer or factory direct. But, I do live 2 hours from the factory, so there's that.

not sure if they have a website when i bought those wheels about 5yrs ago they were a small business in california, Your best bet is to make an account on layitlow.com and go to the forums he used to sell his wheels through there as a vendor. As for the tires they were 185/75r14 which i think is discontinued, most people run a 175 which doesnt look much different at all.

I'll be damned, they make proper spline drive wheels for my MG! Yeah, their website is pretty crappy as websites go these days, but at least it doesn't use Flash and loads quickly...

Holy crap their site just got worse when I discovered they have two separate sites... http://www.daytonwirewheels.com/ and http://www.daytonwirewheelsstore.com/
